|descend [afdalen]||II, 482-83
NC II, 552
The descent can be contrasted with an ascent in the opposite direction.
Dooyeweerd does not have a view of reality as a “chain of being,” or an “analogy of being.” But he does have apriori levels of conditions for reality.
Baader speaks of this descent as a kenosis. We make the movement from enstasis to ec-stasis, to the lower levels of reality, in an act of love.
Baader also says that each descent is a disintegration; each ascent is a reintegration (Werke 9, 208).
